Building on Packaging Design I, this course explores how packaging design contributes to establishing product identity and value, facilitating market entry and growth, and enhancing consumer satisfaction and response. By viewing the packaging container as the “clothing” of a product, we focus on how packaging influences consumer perceptions. Throughout the product’s lifecycle—from production to consumption—we practice reviewing and addressing situations from the perspective of packaging design. The course aims to increase brand value and improve product line efficiency by emphasizing packaging identity in management.
